This is the official app for the DribbleUp Smart Basketball. If you have a ball - great! You'll be able to scan your ball in and follow along with the virtual trainer. Your dribbles will be automatically tracked and your performance will be analyzed. If you don't have a ball yet - don't worry! You can still use the app to watch basketball drill videos & you can practice your ball handling skills on your own. Keep on training!

It was great magnificent best thing ever
  • Loving it so far

Just got this for our3 boys ages 9,10, and 11 who are starting basketball kind of late compared to their peers. They can’t stop practicing and it seems like their ball handling skills are already improving. It was hard to get them motivated to practice ball handling before we got this- all they wanted to do was stand around and shoot hoops. Would be nice to be able to toggle between different players more easily but otherwise set up and and getting started was very easy. I’m not sure if it will hold their interest over time but at least right out of the box it works and they like it.
  • Dribble Upppppp!

My son has used the app for a day so far. Pretty easy to set up and does a good job tracking his dribbling. Seems to work better using an iPad than a phone. I could see how continued use is going to improve his hand eye coordination along with his dribbling.
  • Awesome, but little glitch

It’s nice for training but I have some reasons it could be better...... First off, lets talk about how the drill counting. For instance, you can move your ball around without dribbling it and it still counts as REPS, so that is a pretty big con. you have to pay $9.99/week or month to get online/LIVE classes and they are about 5-10 minutes long but they only do specific drills. Ex. You might have to wait a day to get a level you need for training, so you might want to just go to the gym and get a trainer or something that you don’t want to wait 12-30 hours for. Another reason is I had to delete the app twice and I’m not downloading it again because when I scan my ball its super laggy and the ball won’t register and it’s very annoying because I don't want to waste my time trying to get it done when I could just have a family member/ friend help. One big thing is you need to buy a very specific ball to do this. A pro is it has a very wide variety in training drills.
  • Great app for beginner handles

I love this app. It is definitely more focused for children but as a 29 year old getting into basketball for the first time, I love it. It has useful drills to help learn but again it is very basic.

My daughter loves the app and smart ball. On top of great skills practice, it is also a great cardio workout. Very happy with this program.
