  • Can’t download 18652

I bought this app for sailing in San Francisco Bay but 18652 can’t be downloaded. Update: thanks for Jim’s quick response during the weekend this is caused by NOAA discounting the map.
  • Where is the “center my boat” button?

In addition to the fact that this app seems to think I care about the ID of the specific NOAA chart that I need (I don’t) there is no obvious way to get the chart plotter to center the boat. What gives? These seem like super necessary features to have right at my fingertips when I am trying to navigate in the fog with a dozen other things going on around me. Also the interface is clunky and not intuitive and does not use Apple/Google standard UI elements (no double tap and drag to zoom???).
  • Either entirely unintuitive or broken

I just downloaded this to plot some courses. The waypoint search feature is not making sense to me. I sometimes find a correct place with it, but all it shows is a useless green dot at a maximum zoom-in view of nearly the entire usa east coast. Then it can’t plot any courses because there are no waypoints.

This app should be free. Subscription for maps are around $30/y

First you pay for the app, then you pay for the maps, forever, and I STILL get hit with annoying popup ads.

This app, which I just purchased, tries to force you to purchase another app for $29.99 as soon as you open it. The ad, which will not close unless you purchase, completely overlays the app you just bought and downloaded.
  • Hustle

Such a hustle. Costs you to purchase the app only to realize that it doesn’t even have my region. Thanks for nothing frauds
  • My Favorite App Broke?

I had sworn by iNavX, but ever since attempting to download all Great Lakes charts for voyaging, the application grinds to a halt. Do I need to delete all my charts (how) and be more selective and judicious? It seems like this great application needs to profile its code base to tackle bottlenecks with taster charts. Good luck! I still recommend it heartily.

I’ve used several of these apps. This one is the least user friendly, and very difficult to understand. They don’t have any of the finger lakes or local lakes in that region. You’ll have to spend the same money for those maps in this app as you would in any of the other ones. But, with this app you’ll have a much more difficult time using the app itself. Complete waste of $5.
  • Does NOT include USA lakes.

The description clearly starts with “the only app to include world wide coverage”. That is only true if you purchase a map from a second party provider.
