  • Great game w/ Sub-par Company & Management

    By Iheartsri
This game has a lot of great things going for it as other reviews can attest to. This game however continues to lose its long term player base due to poor management of new content release, unacceptable QA, and poor choices in error handling/fire fighting. Sad to see these errors outweigh the joy the game used to bring. Until these current issues can be resolved for the better, I can only assume long term players like myself will continue to leave and look to other games/companies. Yours truly, A disappointed fan
  • Introducing new monsters without play testing

    By Long Duck Jon
Game is a cash grab for sure and recent business practices have been unethical
  • Need new devs

    By DV Hnsk
They don’t test their work. They don’t know their game.
  • Scam2uS

    By Anubyss88
No support, terrible devs, can’t even put out 1 unit proper with redacting it the next day.
  • Buyer Beware

    By Manbarepig6
I’ve been playing for a little over three years. The devs have made major quality of life increases in the time, and the game has a good variety of content to keep you engaged. The major downside, and why I give it 1 star is simple, they do not engage in any sort of beta or play testing prior to releasing new monsters or updating skills of existing ones. This causes continual issues where players spend resources, both in-game and real-life cash, to game test new mons and mechanics through regular gameplay, only to have Devs apply nerfs once imbalances are found. In the worst cases, such as the recent mon release, the nerf announcement happened after three days and plenty of sales of nearly $250 worth of update packs. I will update my rating once appropriate compensation is offered and a permanent fix, either a public test server or dedicated quality assurance team, are implemented by the developer.
  • Terrible

    By Martyrdomcomplex
Everything is based around stupid amounts of money. I’ve played for almost a decade, spent a silly amount of money, still have no real LD mat 5s and very few monsters I actually like The balancing is a joke as well. They finally add some new monsters that are actually kind of interesting and fun, they get a nerf in the first week. Monsters like skogul and miho exist yet Kaki needed an immediate nerf huh? And all this after most players bought hundreds of dollars worth of packs trying to get him. This games a joke, the developers obviously only want your money. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother even trying this game; I promise you’ll regret it eventually.
  • Don’t waste money in game

    By Zag4Lyfe
Don’t bother spending money on this game, but still not a bad passive gacha game. Need more frequent balance patches. Rta is a joke and shouldn’t be considered an e-sport. Qa seems to be non-existent (see kaki nerf) and bugs/errors exist 4+ years (crit rate was not as advertised). They’ve had multiple account security issues over the years (more reason to not spend if you do play).
  • The devs don’t play test their units. Nerf things. Don’t compensate players

    By Limes943
The game is great but the company behind it is greedy and doesn’t care about the player base. It can be so frustrating to invest time and money into a game that the devs don’t care about. 10 scrolls as compensation doesn’t make up for how much we sank into trying to get new monsters. Give us devilmon. Give us mana. Give us crystals. Don’t make us waste our resources and then just change your mind.
  • In regards to new monster release - absolutely predatory

    By Cellophanatic
“Classic com2us. This is starting to get old. How about for compensation we get refunds on all the packs we whaled on to get these new units? Or at the very least, devilmons back for the skillups we put into these new monsters to compete in the tournament. That’s fair compensation for an utter lack of testing. Seems releasing busted mons, collecting money, and then apologizing is becoming their new release strategy.”
  • Seems to be a cash grab for some time

    By FalloutPipboymatic
I got into the game from a friend, and played free to play, which will get you very far. But in recent times, the company releases a new unit, people sink resources (runes, gems, $$$) to build the new unit and then nerf it. Which causes everyone who used it to waste all that time/resources. And it ‘s pretty obvious they don’t beta/play test their new units because it tends to happen a lot. Their “compensation” for nerfing units is not enough for the people who spent $$$ on the game.
